Bedepuszta, Hongarije
Bedepuszta is located in a valley at the end of the road, at the green slopes of the Cserhát hills. One valley to the east the village of Kisbárkány can be found, in all other directions there are no settlements for many miles. The extraordinary village of Hollókő (Unesco World Heritage) is only a 8 kilometer walk from Bedepuszta. In the south the peaks of the Matra mountains look down on Bedepuszta. The capital Budapest and the airport are only one hour drive (95 km).
The Hungarian Highlands have not yet been discovered as a tourist destination by many. But natural resources like beech and oak forests, hills and valleys, traditional villages, quality wine and hot springs, make it a inspiring destination for the those who want to escape mass tourism.
