Arty country bar in the middle of nowhere
The Yonderbar is actually the village’s living room, a cosy hang-out where you can go for a nicely-brewed beer, homemade lemonades or quality Hungarian wine.
At the end of a dead end road
One wouldn’t expect to find a bar like the Yonderbar on such a location. The bar is decorated with antiques that were found on the Bedepuszta attics and from neighboring villages. The east wall is decorated by 1000%, an underground artists from Budapest. In the winter the large authentic masonry stove (kemence) is used to heat the entire room. And there’s music. A Sonos system provides the right tunes in and outside the bar Also, a piano and a guitar are available for those who know how to play it. Additionally, there’s a small organ from a nearby church. In the back room you will find a large salon table and a cupboard filled with some of the best current board games.
Garden with a view
In front of the bar is a big garden with a campfire spot and a stage. There are two terraces. The stage hosts bands when they are around (normally only during events). The rest of the year the stage is the scene of serious duels on the giant chess board. During weekends often a small campfire is made. There are instruments, there’s music and there ‘s a telescope to watch the stars. Long story short; the bar garden is the place to be on hot summer nights. There are also two terraces. The roofed terrace is part of the bar and offers a great view over the valley, the open terrace, next to the pavilion has a small fire barrel.
