The Rozsa Cottage is located in the heart of Bedepuszta. The house has a parking, a small garden and cozy patio. Inside Rozsa Cottage you can find a long hallway with two adjacent rooms; a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with space for an extra bed. The kitchen is also the dining room. There’s a separate toilet and a separate bathroom. The house has a very nice ambiance, with antique furniture and decorated with old plates and paintings.

Garden

Rózsa means rose, and the house does not bear this name for no reason. In front of the house is a small garden with lush rose and lilac bushes. Grapes also grow in the garden in October.

Background

The Rozsa house dates from the late 19th, early 20th century. The walls are made of clay and the undulating ceilings are still authentic. These are made of reed mats plastered against the attic floor. The frames are original, but the windows have been replaced by double glazing. In the past, water was taken from the well opposite of the house and it was lit with kerosene lamps. At the end of the last century, the house was connected to the electricity grid. Connection to the water network, discharge of black and gray water and internet connection were only realized in 2013.
