Othello House

Farm house with huge garden

After entering the house, you find yourself in the kitchen, which leads to the dining room. On the one side this leads to a comfortable double room with   twist, on the other side is a spacious triple room. There’s a separate toilet and a bathroom at the corridor, which leads to the spacious living room. While the dining is the centre of the house, the living room is a very convenient place with comfortable chairs, a chess table and a traditional ‘kemence’ fireplace.

Yard, garden and orchard

Delicious Othello grapes grow all around this former farm house. The house is separated from the road and the parking place with a wooden fence. Inside the garden there’s a covered patio with chairs and tables and a path that leads uphill to a lawn that’s suitable for playing badminton etc. Further uphill there’s an orchard with apple, pear, quince and cherry trees, as well as blackberries.

Background

The house is named after bubblegum tasting Othello grapes that grow around it. The house was built before the First World War. In the patio there’s a small exhibition of tools and other old artifacts that were found during the renovation.

Location

The house is 120 meters from the Yonderbar and the recreational area. Guests can freely use facilities like: the swimming pool, beachvolley, badminton, pingpong, darts, board games and the club house.
