Lenti House

Modern house at the edge of Bedepuszta

Lenti House is located at the northern edge of the village. The house has one living room with an open kitchen. In the room you find a big comfortable couch and a diner table. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge and a stove. Furthermore there’s a toilet, a bathroom and a bedroom with a double bed. The Lenti house is less fit for those who with impaired mobility because of the uneven floor.

Terrace and garden

From the living room a glass door opens to a covered terrace facing the west. On the terrace you will find a picknick table and chairs. The garden faces south and consists of a green lawn and some young trees.

Background

This brick house is almost newly built. But the fundaments of the house were already there, as well as some walls, but most of it is built in 2017. That’s why the house has a modern look with classic elements like a wooden ceiling and, most strikingly, a basalt floor. The area around Bedepuszta had one of Europe’s biggest basalt mines. In the 19th century the streets in Budapest, Paris and London were paved with basalt stones from the Salgótarján mines. Because of the natural stones, the floor in the house is not straight.

Location

The Lenti house is the most northern house in Bedepuszta. It’s 250 meters from the Yonderbar and the recreational area. The road towards the central part of the village is made of gravel. Guests can freely use facilities like: the swimming pool, beachvolley, badminton, pingpong, darts, board games and the club house.
