Entering the hallway of the Bartók house, you will find a nice and cozy living room on the right side, the bedroom in the middle and a simple but nice, old style kitchen on the left. Toilet and shower are in the back of the house.

Garden and courtyard

Outside there’s a stair that leads to the roofed courtyard, which functions as an outdoor room in summertime. The yard leads to garden in the former farm yard at the back of the house. From April till September this house provides shelter for many shallow families who built there nests here.

Background

The house is dedicated to the extraordinary Hungarian musician and composer Béla Bartók, who is highly respected not only for his genius in music, but also his academic interest in (Hungarian) folk culture and his role in the 19th century Reform movement. Rooms are decorated with original Hungarian folk elements like paintings and costumes. Also the furniture is mainly country style antique.

Location

The Bartók house is at 80 meters from the Yonderbar and the recreational area. Guests can freely use facilities like: the swimming pool, beachvolley, badminton, pingpong, darts, board games and the club house.
